Let’s Connect

“Ash and her team are the real deal, her designs are filled with so much personal meaning, elegance and sentiment I knew that in her hands the day would tie together perfectly in a way that I couldn’t even begin to imagine.

As a bit of a sucker for old world romance I knew Film and Foliage would elevate this to a level that would transport our guests into a story of timeless elegance and beauty.

I had ideas but I really wanted to let her creative team tell our story and I am forever grateful they captured us so well. From the walnuts from my childhood, the hydrangeas that both our mums would grow and the surprise and delight of the artichokes paired with draping tulips it really encapsulated all our dreams for the day.

I couldn’t recommended Film and foliage more and all our friends and family will be using their service!”

  • We celebrate our locally grown flora from Australian farmers exclusively. Our flowers are sourced directly from the growers at the Sydney Flower Markets and local growers in our area. This means we are able to select the absolute best quality seasonal blooms for your designs as well as reducing our footprint and avoiding toxic chemicals.

  • We are on a mission to reduce our footprint and minimise unnesecary waste in our business. Wherever we can we choose a more sustainable option.

    This means:

    • We source locally and seasonally from Australian growers and don’t use imported flowers

    • We don’t use floral foam in our practice (a single use plastic)

    • We re-use our mechanics and break down our waste to be composted and recycled

    • We use natural textiles like recycled cotton and raw linen and silk for our bouquets, napkins, runners and tablecloths

    • We source ‘Eco Candles’ all-natural, renewable ingredients including 100% vegetable stearin, natural dyes, and cotton wicks.

    • We do not use preserved, bleached or dyed flowers in our practice, opting for natural blooms that can be composted

  • We open our books 12 months ahead and devote our premium floral service to 20 weddings each year to ensure we can offer a high-end, bespoke experience for our couples.

If you’re getting married in the next 12 months we highly recommend you reach out as soon as possible to secure your date.

  • Can I tell you a secret? Most of our clients don't and that’s why they choose us.

Hiring an experienced floral designer who has amazing connections with local growers, a deep knowledge of flower seasons and endless creativity means we’ll be offering style suggestions, tips on making a visual impact, dreamy concepts and creative solutions to make your wedding florals unforgettable.

We’ll take cues from your relationship, the venue, the season, your styling and the feel of your day and design a cohesive floral proposal that is considered and intentional for your special day.

No floral knowledge required from you!

  • Absolutely! We always expect changes to be made and the vision to refine over time.

Floral elements can be added and shuffled to suit your evolving vision - during the design process we'll schedule a detailed meeting to refine and finalise the details and logistics before your brief is finalised at 6 weeks prior to your event.
